The current system of “care-taker” government, and still its existence in Bangladesh, once again exposed the chaos in the Bangladesh political system. This is the 4th care-taker government, who are in charge of the country. And they are meant to be control the internal external issues of our country during the election period only for 3 months, and this current government has already passed 6 months and no result yet to come (such a disappointment). The system is there because out political leaders think of themselves as not such trust-worthy, but are the people appointed as the care-taker government is trustworthy? They are controlling all the political issues (rather call terrorizing) our political parties, but who would control them? And all the blame should be go to no other but to the main capitalist party, the Awami League (AL), headed by Begum Hasina Wajed, the ex-prime minister, and daughter of the deceased first leader of independent Bangladesh (1971), Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and the Bangladesh National Party (BNP), headed by Begum Khaleda Jia, the ex-prime minister, and wife of the deceased first military leader of Bangladesh (1976). And from the above sentence, any one can guess that this is not a true democracy, we are experiencing. I think democracy should be not only be bound in the election process, but it should also be practiced in every places, while electing the chair person of the political party, taking major decisions, and where not?
After 36 years of independence, the dreams of prosperity, stable democracy and political stability, are still not fulfilled. Both capitalist parties are split on the basis of being considered ‘pro-Indian’ or ‘pro-Pakistan’; the AL is considered pro-Indian and the BNP is considered pro-Pakistan. The BNP is a more reactionary, right wing party than the AL, which is more liberal and secular.
These parties are also responsible for our current economic conditions, market conditions, and obviously our two main problems: poverty, and price hike.
